The latest shout out in Sport Waitākere’s series ‘Supporting West Auckland business that support sport’ goes to Contrast Interiors, long-time supporters of Waitākere Hockey Club.

As well as being a financial sponsor of the Waitākere Hockey Turf for 18 months, owners Brendon and Monica Dunn have devoted many hours of their busy schedules to coaching kids, managing junior teams and providing not only their kids but other kids the opportunity to play hockey through the club and their local primary school.

Waitākere Hockey Turf Co-ordinator Ben Wu says Brendon and Monica are extremely hard working and down to earth parents, volunteers and people.

“Their love of hockey can be seen in their endless hours at the turf putting their hand up to help in any bit they can, at every opportunity.”

Ben adds that without the significant contribution of businesses like Contrast Interiors, the Waitākere Hockey Turf and Club would be hugely impacted.

“Without people like the Dunns, our sport would not happen without their immense support through volunteer hours and their love of the game. Waitākere Regional Hockey Turf trust thanks them immensely for your current and ongoing support.”

Contrast Interiors designs and manufactures bespoke kitchens and cabinetry with an emphasis on functionality and form.  Brendon has over 20 years cabinet making experience and Monica is an Interior Designer with a life-long love all things design.
