Push Play

Push Play is a nationwide SPARC campaign to get more New Zealanders more active, more often.
All it takes is 30 minutes a day.

Push Play is based on the fact that even small amounts of activity are good for your health. But don't just take our word for it - here's what the experts say:

A 10 percent increase in the number of physically active adults would save around 300 lives each year - and five times this number could be saved if every adult was sufficiently active.
- Dr Dave Gerrard, Associate Professor, University of Otago Medical School

Just 30 minutes of physical activity, taken regularly, will benefit the health of everyone.
- US Surgeon General, 1996

It's easy to Push Play and be more active.
  • You can do it where you live or where you work.
  • You can go for a walk, go for a bike ride or join a gym.
  • You do whatever you want to, whenever you want to.
It doesn't have to be expensive - and guess what? It can actually be fun!
