Chief Executive Officer
- Lynette Adams
Lynette was employed as CEO in July 2005 after 10 months as General Manager. She has had an extensive career in sport working in both management and delivery roles. Lynette’s passion for children and youth sport led her into the sport industry and she continues that on with a desire to improve the fundamental movement skills of children. Lynette also believes that sport and physical activity has a huge capacity to impact on both individual lives and on whole communities improving health, productivity, and social connectedness. Lynette is proud to be born and bred a “Westie” and loves working for her region. She is currently a BowlsNZ Board member. She has played many sports (very averagely) and now enjoys social tennis and playing active games with her young family.

Nga Kaihoe O Aotearoa Inc. (Waka Ama NZ) Administrator - Chrissie Cobb
Chrissie's working life has been based around administration, with the last six years specializing in sport administration with tennis. She was recently appointed a committee member of Ruapotaka Marae in Glen Innes, Auckland. She has been involved in sports all of her life and participated. In April 2009, she competed in the 100km Oxfam trail-walk that was completed in 36 hours through farmlands in the Taupo region. Her interests now lie in trail-walking, walking and tramping. Chrissie has two lovely children who are now old enough to look after themselves, which gives her the opportunity to continue with coaching, supporting, administering and learning about different sports. She looks forward to offering my skills and knowledge as an administrator and hopes to provide a service that will continue to support relationships and to encourage positive communication within the sport of Waka Ama.
