Rocky was appointed in October 2005 as the Kaiwhakahaere. The focus of this role is to encourage Maori communities to become more active. This is done through providing support for behaviour changes within the community by facilitating interventions within specific Maori settings. Rocky’s background includes working in the Public Health Unit at Te Whanau O Waipareira Trust. Rocky’s interests are playing rugby, baking and having time with her family.
